**Support & Docs at the foot of the menu is where you get help without leaving your work: tell the WrkLst team what should change by marking it right on the page, chat with the team, or read the documentation in a panel beside the page you are on.** This article describes WrkLst 10.

## The help menu

**Support & Docs** sits at the foot of the menu, just above the WrkLst 10 badge. Click it and a small menu opens with three entries: **Give feedback**, **Chat with support** and **Documentation**.

## Give feedback

Something does not work, a word reads wrong, or you have an idea: **Give feedback** lets you show the WrkLst team exactly where, instead of describing it.

1. Choose **Give feedback**. The page stays as it is, and a toolbar appears at the bottom of the screen. A click now marks what is under the pointer instead of using it; you can still scroll.
2. With **Comment** chosen, click the button, field or text you mean. It gets a numbered marker, and a note opens beside it: write under **What should change?**. When you have marked a piece of WrkLst's own wording, a second field, **Better wording**, lets you suggest how it should read. **Done** closes the note, **Remove** takes the marker off. Mark as many places as you like; a click on a marked place opens its note again.
3. With **Black out**, click anything the team should not see, such as a client's name or a price. It is covered in black in the screenshot. A second click, or the cross on its corner, takes the blackout off.
4. Choose **Continue**. WrkLst takes a screenshot of the window with your markers drawn in.
5. In **Send feedback**, pick the **Kind of feedback**: Something does not work, Wording or translation, Layout or design, Idea or wish, or Something else. Under **Your feedback**, say what happened and what you expected; a comment on one of your markers is enough too. **Your markers** lists what you marked, and the screenshot shows how the page looked.
6. Choose **Send feedback**. A short message confirms that it has reached the WrkLst team.

**Edit markers** takes you back to the page with your markers kept, and the screenshot is taken again afterwards. **Cancel**, or Escape, leaves without sending anything.

### What the screenshot shows

The screenshot shows the page as it is on your screen. Everything you blacked out, and every password field whether you marked it or not, is filled in black before the picture leaves your computer, so it never reaches the team. Untick **Include the screenshot** to send your feedback without it. If the screenshot cannot be taken, your feedback is sent without it. Along with your feedback, the team sees the page you were on, your language and your browser, so they can see what you saw.

## Chat with support

**Chat with support** opens the chat with the WrkLst team right away, in a window over the page. Write your question there, without leaving what you are working on.

## Read the documentation

**Documentation** opens the WrkLst guides in a panel on the right, beside your work. It opens at the articles for the page you are on, and you can still browse every other article from there. On a large screen the page moves aside, so you can read and work side by side.

The panel stays open while you move through WrkLst. On its home page the help changes with you; while you are reading an article, it stays put and offers **Help for this page** for the page you have moved to.

At the top of the panel:

- **Back** returns to the article you read before.
- **Search the documentation**: results appear as you type, over the article you are reading. Pick one to open it; clear the search and you are back where you were.
- **Open in a new tab** opens the article you are reading on the help website, [support.wrklst.art](https://support.wrklst.art).
- **Minimize** slides the panel away to a **Documentation** tab at the middle of the right edge. A click on the tab brings it back on the same article, scrolled where you left it.
- The cross closes the panel. The next time you open it, it starts at the articles for the page you are on.

If you reload the page while the panel is open or minimized, it comes back as it was, on the article you were reading.

Pictures and videos in an article open large over the whole window when you click them, with the numbers of a picture explained under it. A click anywhere, or Escape, shrinks them back; a video carries on in the article from where you stopped it.

## On a phone

On a phone, **Support & Docs** is at the foot of the menu, which you open with the WrkLst logo at the top left. Choosing an entry closes the menu. The documentation panel covers the page there; minimize or close it to get back to your work. To give feedback, tap instead of clicking.
