What a list is
A list is a saved selection. You build it once — with filter, search or the basket — and then reuse it wherever it is
needed: to generate documents, to create an exhibition or consignment, to build a presentation, or to address a mailing.
Lists of works, lists of people
A list can hold artworks or contacts. A mailing list of collectors and a checklist of works behave the same way, which
is what makes lists useful as a general-purpose tool rather than a feature of one module.
Keeping them tidy
Lists can be filtered by who can see them, by category, and by whether they have been archived, so a few years of
accumulated selections stay manageable.
