Invoices in WrkLst. A document on your own letterhead for every sale, and when your books demand it, numbered invoices that can never be changed.
It starts under Settings, Templates. Add the Invoice document from the gallery. It's built from elements, not code: address, details, positions, totals, payment terms, a payment link and tax notes. Switch each on or off, and drag them into order.
Positions print in the Gallery layout, with picture, caption and price, or as a Table. Add your logo, a stationery PDF under every page, the paper size and the language. The preview renders your latest sale as you work.
Every account starts with free invoicing. The number comes from your counter under Invoicing, or you type it on the sale. Share as creates the PDF whenever you need it, always from the sale as it is now.
Need a formal invoice record? An admin switches on invoice bookkeeping under Settings, Accounting. The rules follow your country: Germany under GoBD, Austria, the rest of the EU, the UK or the US. The workflow stays the same everywhere.
Complete the seller once: name, address, VAT ID or tax number, and your bank. Set the number format, for example RE, the year and the number. A number is taken only when an invoice is issued, without gaps.
On the sale, choose Issue invoice. Tick the positions to invoice, or bill an advance payment. A final invoice deducts the advances. Pick the template and the date of supply. Issue, and the invoice is numbered and locked.
An issued invoice never changes. If something's wrong, choose Cancel invoice and give a reason. A cancellation invoice with its own number takes it back, the positions are free again, and you invoice the corrected sale anew.
In Sales, switch to Invoices. Filter by status, kind, year or client. Each invoice opens with its positions, payments and history. Download the PDF, with the e-invoice inside where your rules ask for one, and book a payment by hand.
Download the PDF and attach it. With a payment link on the sale, the invoice can print it with a QR code, so your client pays by card. At month end in Germany and Austria, the Datev export hands your tax advisor the whole period.
Five habits make it work. Design one invoice document and use it everywhere. Give every client an address with a country. Check the date of supply. Correct with a cancellation, never by editing. And have your tax advisor confirm the export settings.
That's invoicing in WrkLst. You'll find it on every sale, under Invoices in Sales, and in Settings, under Templates and Accounting. More in the help centre.
