Media Library

The WrkLst Media Library. Every image, document and link in one place, and you see which works they belong to.

Your files appear as a wall of thumbnails, the latest changes first. Prefer rows? Switch to the list view, and sort by name or date with one click on the heading.

Looking for a file? Type into the search. WrkLst checks the name, the original file name, the batch name and the photographer. The filter shows only images, documents or links, sorted your way.

Click a file, and it opens beside the list, with the preview, the credit and the photographer. Below are the works it belongs to, its original name and its history. The arrows step to the next file.

Click the preview to see the file full size, right in WrkLst. PDFs page through in the window, and Vimeo or YouTube links play there too. Download it, or open it in a new tab.

Add files opens the upload page, with tabs for images, documents and weblinks. First, name the batch. Then type a credit, or just pick the photographer, and WrkLst adds their credit for you. Every image you upload next carries it.

Now drag your files into the drop zone, or select them. Each can be up to 100 megabytes, and very large images are downsized for you. Every file shows its progress, and you can rename it as soon as it's in.

Click the pencil to rename a file, fix the credit or pick another photographer, then save. Documents and links can be marked confidential, where your role allows it. If a colleague is editing the file, you'll see who.

Edit image rotates a photo in quarter turns and sets its focal point. Click the spot that matters, and every cropped thumbnail centres on it. The original file stays untouched.

Add document opens the same picker on every record. Search the library, or switch to a tab like Exhibitions or Works and pick a record. Take a document it already holds, or make a new PDF from one of its templates. It's linked, not copied.

Five habits make it work. Name every batch. Add the credit as you upload. Rename files so anyone can find them. Set the focal point on key images. And link a file instead of uploading it twice.
