Toolbox & calendar

The Toolbox and the calendar feed in WrkLst. Undo a deletion, tidy up names across your whole archive, and carry your WrkLst dates into the calendar you already use.

Open the menu with your name, top right, choose Settings, then Toolbox. Each tool is a section that opens with a click, and the number beside it tells you how much is inside. Your role decides which tools you see.

Deleted something by mistake? Open Recover recent records. Every work, contact, sale, exhibition, list or file deleted in the last seven days is listed with its date. Choose Recover, confirm, and its history notes who brought it back.

Clearing out many works at once? Put them in the basket and choose Delete works. Works on a sale, in a group, on a shipment, in an exhibition or on a consignment are kept. You confirm by typing the number.

Under Inventory locations and the tag lists, you see everything that was typed on your records. Rename a value, and every record that uses it changes in one go. Rename it to a name that already exists, and the two merge.

The same works for the shipping carriers you typed yourself. Fix a spelling once, and every shipment follows. Carriers with live tracking are built in and stay untouched. And a tag you no longer need can be removed from every record.

Work with price factors? Artist price factors lists the factor for each artist and type of work. Edit factor changes it. Re-apply factor recalculates the factor-based prices of all those works in one click, handy after adding new ones.

An import landed in the wrong place? Delete an inventory removes it with every work inside, as long as none of them is on a sale, in a group, on a shipment, in an exhibition or on a consignment. Type its name to confirm.

Now your calendar. Under Settings, Calendar, choose Add a subscription. Give it a name, tick what goes in, from exhibition runs and holds to payments due, and choose Create link. WrkLst asks for your password once more.

Copy the link and paste it into Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook or Thunderbird. The link is shown only once. Everyone sees only what their role allows, amounts never appear in a title, and Disconnect ends a subscription.

Five habits make the difference. Check Recover recent records before you enter anything again. Rename instead of retyping. Delete a wrong import as a whole. Make one calendar link per device. And disconnect a link you no longer use.
